This is exciting. Just watched the introduction to the course and it answered a few questions I've had already. Only comment I would make is that I'm looking for the test and there's no button. (You know doctors, there has to be a post-test.
2. Dr. Bertalan Mesko March 23, 2012
Hi! You can take the test by clicking on the red "Take the course" button just below the Prezi. I hope it helps!
3. Miguel Angel Mayer March 26, 2012
Dear Dr. Mesko,
I think the presentations and the course are very interesting. I tried to take the test by clicking on the red button "Take the course" but straight away this message appeared: "You had an unsuccessful test. Wait 24 hours and try again." and in fact no questions were displayed.
Best wishes,
Dr. MA. Mayer

Dr. MA. Mayer,
It could have happened because you clicked on that before and it is counted as one try. If you cancel a test it means you can only try again after 24 hours. This feature is implemented into the system to prevent students from trying to take a test a 100 times a day. I hope you understand.
Kind regards,
Berci

Dear Berci,
Thank you very much for your quick answer but I'm so sorry because I don't understand you. What do you mean "before"? Because before (the first time I clicked on this button) it happened the same, no questions or test was displayed.
Best wishes,
MA

That was an important piece of information. I'm going to let the developers know about this issue. Thank you for raising this!
7. Gustavo Tolchinsky March 26, 2012
Berci, I had a different problem, I did the first test and faild to answere 80%, I'm not a native english speaker and the time runs faster than I could read and answere (I'm a slow reader too), the second time I did the test I made it 80%, but it asked me 90%. How is that? is it progressive even for the 3rd time? No complain just to know. The course is great by the way!!

9. Dr. Bertalan Mesko March 26, 2012
Dear Gustavo,
I'm very glad you like the course. The tests are set to ask for 90% of correct responses in order to pass a test. That is the only limit in the tests and it doesn't change.

10. Gustavo Tolchinsky March 26, 2012
Berci, you sould then correct the slide in just in the end of the presentation where you say 80% success is needed, or does it mean 80% of all tests? Tnks
11. Gustavo Tolchinsky March 26, 2012
Made it this time! :-}
12. Dr. Bertalan Mesko March 27, 2012
That was the origin of the problem, I just made that correction. Thank you for this and congratulations! :) Share the fact that you just completed a test with your networks in your profile.

Hi Berci,
In getting started, I found a couple of things unclear. Do I start by listening to the presentation or by clicking on the red button Take the Course? It looks like I attempted to take the first test and "failed" when in actually fact I had to abort because I had run out of time. It would be helpful if you could post the estimated amount of time commitment for each presentation (module) and test. Next attempt, I will set aside the appropriate amount of time to listen to all the videos. My personal preference would be to include fewer videos, but that's my learning style. (I can't speed read videos :)

Hi Colleen!
It's great to see you here!
You can watch the Prezis by clicking on the Play button at the bottom of the Prezi box. After watching the Prezis, you can take the test by clicking on the red Take the test button below the Prezi.
Regarding the estimated amount of time commitment: Great suggestion! I tried to include information about that in the FAQ, but it seems to be insufficient.
I hope you will enjoy the prezis.
Berci

Hi Berci, while working my way through the prezi - suddenly got hung up and couldn't get back in - got as far as negative effects (tennesee woman arrested) and then got error message "hups bzzr"... and wouldn't reload. Will try again later. I agree with Colleen - you may want to give an estimate of time required to complete both the prezi and the test.
Enjoyed what I made it through so far - and look forward to giving it a go again.
Cheers
Jake

Hi Jake,
I'm sorry to hear that. Both our servers and Prezi work fine so the reason must be the internet connection. Please try it again and let me know if there are any problems with that.
I'm glad you liked it so far!

Dear Emrah,
We are going to ask all our users about it in a survey soon.
Thank you for the feedback!

22. Dr. Bertalan Mesko June 21, 2012
If you once fail, you have to wait 24 hours to try again. Did it happen to you after waiting for 24 hours?
23. Dominic August 15, 2012
Confusing, or what! Not sure how you actually take a course. When you click 'take the course', it rather surprisingly starts a test, which is not, according to most people's definition, 'taking a course'. So you tend to think 'wait a minute, I haven't taken a course, so how can I take a test?', abort the test and get told you have failed and must now wait 24 hrs.
So how do you 'take a course'? I am assuming there is material to work through?

24. Dr. Bertalan Mesko August 15, 2012
Dear Dominic,
You are actually right, it could be confusing. We are going to rename the Take the course button to Take the test, and you can see the Prezi by clicking on the play icon below it.
I hope it helps.

Tried multiple mac browsers but presentations have no sound, is that how they are supposed to work?
26. Dr. Bertalan Mesko February 02, 2013
Dear Daniel,
Audiocasts cannot be included in Prezi.com presentations at the moment, but we are working on it to find another way.
Best regards,
Berci

Thank you for this course. I am very excited to view the other prezis.
What struck me most in the first prezi was the definition of social media...that it turns communication into interaction.
That is a simple and elegant description. And not too hard to achieve as long as you are curious, genuine, and open.
Thanks again.

Hi,
I'm one of those medical students from Debrecen who participated on the world's first universiry course in 2008. I don't decide which is better: this prezi or your first presentation. :)
Good job!

I thought at first there were grammatical errors in quite a few questions in the test for this module, but it later became evident that the test does not display properly in all web browsers. Many of the stems were cut off mid-sentence. This makes it quite difficult.
36. Dr. Bertalan Mesko August 15, 2013
I'm sorry for that! What web browser did you use?

Dear Dr Meskó,
I am taking your course in Budapest and I've been looking forward to have some days off (TDK Conference days) to really dig into the course online. But as I start, completely new to the system, I didn't realize there was such a short time limit on the questions that I missed a couple of them.
Because of this I didn't complete the first test successfully even though I watched the whole prezi and listened to all the youtube clips. Now I have to wait for tomorrow which I feel a bit too eager to do!
I would like to suggest to make the introduction presentation test a mock test in a way, meaning that, you make the test as if it was a real test with real "punishments" to inform the student how the test works in an informative way but in contrast to the other tests the punishment is not real and you are able to make the test again but prepare the student for what will come in the next presentation tests.
Best regards,
4th year Eng. med student, SOTE, BP

your message..this is my second time thru the introductory course
90% is a tough bar!
Questions that as you dates for historical events are not really all that educationally savvy - they don't test any understanding. I don't mind having to know who tim Bernes lee is but as for Chris Anderson - important point but if now I know about the long tail effect I can google it and find him there - I don't need to waste my ageing brain remembering information I can find easily when I want it!
The test would be less frustrating if there was a review at the end - and links to the parts of the course you need to review - where in the hell do I find when the course was first presented to medical students ? really important that I know that and If I have to repeat the test why waste my time clicking through the questions I got right the first, second or third time.
Tests are good but lets gamily it using the principles you espouse, make the questions relevant to learning and support an easier passage - challenge you to publish the stats but my hypothesis is that the tests are a preventing people stick with the course.
I am informed that only a few percent of people ever complete a Massive Online course MOOC - you can't just take a course and put it online and expect to make a difference.
That being said great stuff and comments in the spirit of improvement

Now it won't let me take the test for another 24 hours. I can get out my old laptop (a little incovenient), but is there a way to take the tests for iPad users?
