Biography:
Specialist of Family and Community Medicine, Master in Public Health, Master Science in Clinical Medicine and PhD in Biomedical Informatics from the Department of Experimental and Life Sciences at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) in Barcelona (Spain). Assistant Professor on Biomedical Informatics at the Faculty of Medicine at the UPF. He participated and participates in several European Projects (related to Semantic Web, quality of health information on the Internet, information management and the application of biomedical informatics) such as MEDCIRCLE, QUATRO, QUATRO-Plus, VACSATC, MedIEQ and INBIOMEDvision, under the Internet Safer Action Plan, DG-SANCO and 7th Research Framework Programmes.
