Crowdsource a Challenge

We believe challenges related to the medical use of social media can be solved together. If you want to launch a Youtube channel for your practice or start a Twitter account for medical purposes, but do not know how, let's work it out together as a learning community.

This should serve as a database of useful, practical solutions in social media.

Studying online

My question / social media related problem is, how can you study efficiently on your computer without getting distracted by social media (facebook) or other websites?
For example, when I start studying the lectures pdf files I check facebook more often and listen to music on youtube, therefore it takes more time to finish.

You can improve your productivity by using the Cold Turkey app.

First you have to turn off your chat. :) After that make some of your goals on a post-it. I think if you use interesting pages/websites/databases you won't think to anything else. :)
Good luck!

You can limit the amount of time that you can spend on these websites by using StayFocusd for Chrome or LeechBlock for Firefox. Personally, I prefer StayFocusd, but it's up to you. If you'd like to know more about these extensions then visit Lifehacker.com. Have a nice day!
